Being Kerried: engaging in training that initially feels immensely doable while being supported by someone with a kind voice and an ear like a therapist (although you soon realise it might not be wise to cross them….). Towards the end it does feel really hard but still completely doable and you feel a great sense of achievement! Soon afterwards, you realise you worked much harder than you thought as your T-Rex arms shake when you try to type on the keyboard. The next day, whenever you move, a muscle you didn’t even know existed, springs into action and lets you know it’s there…! (“damn you Kerry” has been muttered many times in our house!). But after a few weeks you feel so incredibly strong and like you can take on the world! You never dread going because you know that you’ll be pushed, but in a way that feels completely doable (if actually sneakily, because you’ll end up doing way more work than you realised…..).

JACQUI

Training with Kerry has been one of the best decisions I have made! I had never picked up a kettlebell or weights in the gym, only ever opting for cardio. I realise now what I have been missing out on! Working with Kerry, my introduction to strength training has been a revelation - years of discomfort from lower back pain faded away within a few sessions. I wouldn’t have believed it if you’d told me this would happen! I’m in my mid 40s and perimenopause has started to hit, but I’m now entering this new stage of life with determination, and positivity. Kerry really knows her stuff and is an inspiring lady, and we have a great laugh every time too. Don’t think this isn’t for you - it could actually change your life!

I started training with Kerry last year because I was hoping to move more and feel stronger (oh & feel good in my wedding dress). But it didn’t take me long to realise that our sessions would give me so much more than that! Focusing on my strength and wellness every week has really boosted my confidence and self-esteem. Kerry achieves the perfect balance of meeting you where you are and encouraging you to achieve what you want to. Her studio has become such a safe place to leave the rest of the week behind. Six months ago, I walked into Kerry’s studio with zero stamina, no experience with lifting weights, and a few health concerns. As a woman who wears the hijab and isn’t comfortable in a public gym setting, I was nervous and unsure where to begin. But from the very first session, Kerry created a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment that changed everything for me.

Being able to train in a private studio where I can remove my headscarf has been an incredible bonus. I now feel stronger, healthier, and more confident than I ever imagined. I’ve lost weight, built strength, and most importantly, started truly enjoying the journey.

What sets Kerry apart is her gentle, compassionate approach. She intuitively understands how to support you when life feels heavy — whether you’re dealing with a difficult job, injuries, physical challenges, or a complicated relationship with food. Her encouragement is never pushy, just kind and consistent, which has made all the difference for me.

There have been lots of laughs and so much growth in that studio. Her studio has become my happy place, and I’m so grateful for the way she’s helped me transform my relationship with fitness. Thank you, Kerry, for empowering me, and cheering me on every step of the way.

I have been working out with Kerry since post pandemic. I hated exercise and was in pretty poor shape. Kerry has supported and guided me by tailoring my workout to suit my abilities. My husband and I have been training with Kerry for a number of years, both individually and as a couple. I have also trained with her during and after pregnancy. We LOVE her sessions - they are fun and relaxed, but also varied, stretching and focused on exactly what we need individually. Her approach is fantastic too! She is friendly and hugely knowledgeable (both regarding exercise and diet) … and she is also happy to debate away the world in our sessions! Two very happy customers!

CAROLINE

After lockdown I realised the weight had piled on and also after the death of my mother that my mental health had declined to a point I needed to do something. I called Kerry and started having PT sessions. These were a combination of kettlebells, weights and cardio. Within a couple of weeks I noticed the improvement in my posture and toning and my clothes were fitting better. My mood had massively improved and I felt a new zest for life. Kerry certainly made each training session fun and no two sessions gave been the same. Kerry also pushes you to improve by knowing when to increase the weights and repetitions. Kerry takes you on a journey and out of your comfort zone to active your goal. Boxing has also been great fun and not something I could have tried if not for Kerry. She is a great trainer and I cannot recommend her enough!

JULIE

I had completely lost my motivation for exercise and was desperately in need of a kickstart to my fitness regime. My husband, an existing client, recommended having an initial consultation with Kerry which was just what I needed. Having just done treadmill running up to now, Kerry has introduced me to new forms of exercise, boxing, weights and kettlebells, which make the sessions really fun and challenging. It is also great to be able to have sessions in Kerry’s Home Studio as I’m not a gym member. Kerry is a great motivator and personal trainer and I can highly recommend her.

ANDREA

Kerry has a fantastic knack of tailoring training … and focus - exactly where it is most needed, while also making workouts fun, and understanding the inevitable allure of the biscuit tin! I have been training with her since the start of the year and she has definitely overcome my reliance on focusing on the treadmill. I now have  a significantly broader exercise regime and loads more knowledge of what I am doing … and why. I am definitely seeing results and I wholeheartedly recommend her as a PT.

I have been training with Kerry since last year - I had zero experience of weights and I’d rarely set foot in a gym but in my late 40s (and peri menopausal) I wanted to be stronger and fitter.
